11. Necessary advice and assistance in the production of agricultural products on a commercial basis.
12. Conduct e-agriculture service activities using information and communication technology.
13. Provide technical assistance to farmers in marketing of high value crops.
14. To assist the farmers in undertaking technical and rehabilitation activities to make up for the loss of field and horticultural crops due to natural calamities.
15. Provide technical assistance for cultivation of horticultural crops on the roofs of residential and urban buildings.
16. Provide technical assistance for setting up of horticultural crop nurseries.
17. Provide assistance to the Statistics Department in compiling crop planting and production data.
